Island Resort
For Sea Lovers

Explore the waters around Pom Pom Island with the resort Dive Centre. Certified divers can join the available dives, while newcomers can learn through a PADI course or begin with a Discover Scuba Dive.
Snorkel or swim from the beach or the jetty. The Dive Centre can also arrange snorkelling trips and visits to nearby islands, subject to weather, sea conditions and operational availability.
Kayaks are available for rental. It takes about one hour to kayak around the island. Early morning or after 4pm are recommended to avoid the heat of the day and enjoy cooler sea breezes.
Around the Island
Sporting activities include beach volleyball and bicycling or running around the jogging and bike track past vegetable gardens and fruit trees. The track is also a place to watch the sunset or enjoy a walk along the beach.
From time to time, resort staff organise friendly beach volleyball games, and guests are welcome to join in.
Bicycles are available for rental, or guests can follow the island track on foot.
Island Time
There is no need to fill every day with activities. Settle into a beach chair beneath the trees, take an unhurried walk along the jetty, or simply watch the light move across the water.

Day Trip
Bohey Dulang is one of eight islands within Tun Sakaran Marine Park. Sabah Parks describes it as a 313-hectare island formed from volcanic rock, with a ridge of three peaks and a highest point of 353 metres.
The nearby-island trip includes the Bohey Dulang nature trail and a visit to the Marine Park Research Centre and its Giant Clams.
After a morning break, guests can snorkel in the lagoon. A picnic lunch is taken on the beach at Bohey Dulang or Mantabuan Island, depending on the tides.
The trip continues with snorkelling around the Marine Park’s coral gardens before returning to Pom Pom later in the afternoon.

At the Clubhouse
Guests can play pool or board games, or relax in the bar seating area. In the evenings, dive instructors are at the Dive Desk, where guests can use fish and macro books to identify the day’s discoveries and plan diving or snorkelling for the following day.
